Ladakh-trip

Welcome to my blog. Those of you planning a Ladakh trip, what kind of clothing are you taking? When traveling by bike, what type of clothes can you wear to adjust to Ladakh’s weather? I’ll share these tips with you. The environment in Ladakh varies by season, so I’ll share my experiences from each season to help you.

Regular Season

Inner Thermals

Let’s start. If you plan to go in the first two weeks of June or at the end of September, you can bring Inner Thermals. I can tell you from experience that Inner Thermals are very effective. I’ve found them very useful. However, you can also take Inner Thermals with you in other seasons in Ladakh if you have space in your bag.

Fleece jacke

You must bring a Light Woolen Jacket/Fleece jacket. It will keep you warm and protect you from the cold in Ladakh. This jacket will shield you from the cold, and its layers will keep your body comfortable. It’s a very effective jacket.

Cap

Those of us who have been to Ladakh do not take these general things lightly. Because in May, June, and October, it can be quite hot, but Ladakh experiences a lot of cold and snowfall. So take a woolen cap with you. You may find it useful to buy in Ladakh. But if you go between July and September, you can wear a regular cap to protect yourself from the sun. The sun in Ladakh is very intense during that time, so wearing a cap will make you feel better.

Long socks

If you go in early January or in September, you must take woolen socks with you. Many people make one mistake, but you will never make this mistake. Take long socks and woolen socks.

Regular Clothes

Regular clothes mean shirts, sweaters, jeans pants, trousers—you can take them as you like. If you’re biking, you can take 5-7 shirts, sweaters, and shirts. Depending on your packing, you can take more. You’ll decide how many days you’re going. I’m talking from my experience of a 12-day trip.

Shoulder Season (April, May, September, October)

Woolen jacket

During these months, Ladakh remains very cold and experiences snowfall. The temperature always stays below zero degrees Celsius. So you must take a heavy woolen jacket and Inner Thermals with you. Just as I told you about T-shirts in March and April, now I’m talking about Inner Thermals.

Heavy pants

Take heavy pants. If you are a rider, you must also take woolen pants alongside riding pants. Because if you stay in a hotel or homestay, woolen or heavy pants will keep your body warm.

Monkey cap

When it comes to hats, you must take a woolen cap and also take a monkey cap with you.

Hand gloves

Take good quality hand gloves with you. I’ve used Touch Screen Cold Weather Thermal Warm Knit Gloves for Running Driving Hiking. This glove is very useful and effective.

Socks

When it comes to socks, you must take woolen socks with you.

After reading my blog, you will definitely benefit. And I have certainly informed you about the clothes for the Ladakh trip. If you find my blog helpful, definitely comment and let me know. Here I am ending my blog with a “Thank you.”
