
Itinerary for Goa
Every traveler wants to visit Goa once in his lifetime. Goa, is a paradise in India, not only for Indians but foreigners too. Goa is the place in India that attracts the most tourists. You can come here solo, with your partner, or in a group. A tourist must plan his visit to Goa properly. Everyone wants to go to Goa, but many need clarification about planning their visit. To clear your doubts about how to explore Goa and plan the trip, this blog will answer your question: How can you plan Goa’s itinerary for your trip? Everyone comes here with different plans; some come for a short stay, some for a medium stay of 5 days, or a long stay of 10 days. In this blog, we will provide itineraries for 3 days, 5 days, or 10 days. We will explain the daily activities and the sequence in which you will do them.
A) North Goa
North Goa has the most party places, and markets, and is full of crowds. North Goa becomes a celebration spot during New Year and Christmas festivals.
B) South Goa
South Goa is perfect for those who prefer leisure trips. You will find a peaceful environment in South Goa.

The 3-day itinerary will include North Goa exploration. We suggest you visit North Goa if you are here for 3 days. Also, book a hotel for 3 nights in North Goa.

DAY 1

The first day will begin when you reach your hotel near Baga or Calangute Beach. After settling in, you will start your journey by visiting Tito’s Lane. Tito’s Lane is the most happening street in North Goa and is visited by all tourists. You will find the best restaurants, pubs, and shops on this lane. You can also shop for clothes, bags, and accessories here. For dinner, visit Arudhra Café. The center area of Arudhra Café is well-built and very calm and peaceful. You can relax and work here peacefully.

The day 2 goa itinerary will begin with breakfast at the unique McDonald’s outlet. Next, we will explore the famous Aguada Fort. This is the most touristic destination in North Goa. After that, you will head to the dolphin-watching activity in Goa. You can book a boat ride for 300 rupees. The boat will take you on a 45-minute ride to sight dolphins. After seeing the dolphins, you will return to your hotel and freshen up. Then, you will head to the beach to do water sports activities. You will finish your day by having dinner at the beach.

The Day 3 itinerary will begin with your tour of the Old Goa Church. Then, you will visit the Mangesh Temple of Goa. This is one of the most popular temples in Goa. Next, you will have lunch at Kamat Restaurant, Panjim, Goa. After lunch, you can visit the White Church and Fontainhas Lane. Later, you will visit the Panjim Market. One must definitely visit the Panjim Market. In the evening, it’s time to visit the Casino Cruises. This concludes the Day 3 itinerary.
DAY 4
The Day 4 itinerary is as follows: After having breakfast, you will fly back to your hometown.
5-Day Goa Itinerary
We will discuss the 5-day itinerary. Let’s start with the Day 1 itinerary. You can book separate hotels to tour South and North Goa. You will stay for 3 nights in North Goa and 2 nights in South Goa.

Day 1 will begin with your stay near Bogmalo Beach. Then, you will visit Bogmalo Beach. Later, you will perform water sports activities. You will have dinner at Joet’s Restaurant.

The Day 2 itinerary will revolve around visiting the Dudhsagar Waterfalls. Next, you will visit the Tambdi Surla Temple, which is located 15 minutes away from the Dudhsagar Waterfalls. After that, you will return to your hotel at Bogmalo Beach, where you will also have dinner.
The next 3 days’ itinerary will be the same as discussed earlier.
10-Day Goa Itinerary
Now we will discuss the 10-day itinerary. You rarely get 10 days to visit Goa, so when these trips happen, you need to plan everything properly.
Day 1

You will begin your trip with a visit to the southernmost beach—Palolem Beach. You will check into your hotel here and explore Palolem Beach, which is located 20 km south of Goa Airport. From here, you can see the coastline of Karnataka. If you want an escape from all the noise and enjoy a peaceful environment, Palolem Beach is perfect for you. You will find many foreign tourists here too. You will head to Leopard Valley for dinner and a party. Leopard Valley is located near Palolem Beach. You will spend your night at the hotel, which concludes Day 1.
DAY 2

You will begin your day with a hot air balloon ride. Afterward, return to Palolem Beach for breakfast. You will go kayaking at Palolem Beach, where kayaking is relatively inexpensive. After finishing kayaking, you will explore the famous Butterfly Beach, located 36 km south of the airport and north of Palolem Beach. There are two ways to get there:
- By boat through the waters.
- By your vehicle, followed by a trek to the beach.
You can also rent a boat to explore Hanuman Island. After exploring Butterfly Beach, you will enjoy the sunset at Palolem Beach. You will spend the evening of Day 2 at Palolem Beach.
Day 3

On Day 3, you will move from Palolem Beach to Bogmalo Beach. On your way, you will visit several Goa attractions. First, you will visit Cabo de Rama Fort, located 18 km from Aguada Beach. This fort is spread over an area of 180,000 sq. ft. and is one of the oldest and largest forts in Goa. Next, you will visit Colva Beach, the largest commercial beach in South Goa and one of its longest beaches. In the afternoon, you will have lunch at Boomerang Cafe at Colva Beach. Afterward, you will reach Bogmalo Beach, which will take 1-2 hours. After checking into your hotel, you will spend your evening on the beach. After watching the sunset at Bogmalo Beach, you will have dinner at Joet’s Restaurant. You will spend the night at your hotel in Bogmalo Beach.

On Day 4, we will explore the famous Dudhsagar Waterfalls. You will begin your day with a journey to the Dudhsagar Waterfalls, which is located 2-2.5 hours away from Bogmalo Beach. After that, you will visit the Tambdi Surla Mahadev Temple. You will head to Bogmalo Beach in the evening and participate in water sports activities. You will spend the evening and night at Bogmalo Beach.
Day 5

After visiting the church, you can explore the Panjim Market. In the evening, it will be time to visit the famous casinos of Goa.
Day 6

On Day 6, we will visit Calangute Beach. On the way, you will experience bungee jumping at Mayem Lake, which is an hour away from Panjim. After bungee jumping, you will head straight to Baga Beach. You will check in at your hotel and spend your evening at Tito’s Lane. You will have dinner at the famous Arudhra Cafe and spend the night at Baga Beach.
Day 7

First, we will explore Aguada Fort. We will visit the lighthouse later. After seeing the lighthouse, we will do dolphin-watching activities. While heading back to the hotel, we will enjoy the sunset view at Lower Aguada Fort, located near Candolim Beach. Later, you will head back to the hotel.

You will spend the night back at your hotel in Calangute Beach.
